The vibe at The Cavenagh is quite charming, and the pool area is lovely for relaxation. the lack of soundproofing allowed the bar's music to disrupt sleep. The friendly staff and good dining options make it enjoyable, albeit a bit inconsistent.

The hotel is ideally located near essential amenities.
During my stay, I found the noise unbearable, especially from live music that echoed until late at night. My first room, which was above the bar, felt like I was attempting to sleep in a pub—no soundproofing whatsoever. The cleanliness was disappointing too. in my initial room, the bin wasn't emptied, and the overall vibe felt somewhat neglected.

ideal base for exploring darwin's vibrant attractions
during my stay, the friendly staff provided great assistance, and the hotel's prime spot made exploring local gems like the beautiful George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens just a 2 km stroll, while Mason Gallery was only a few steps away, ensuring I maximized my weekend adventure in the city.

this hotel was absolutely charming—if you enjoy loud music and drunken antics until the wee hours. my first room had a lovely view of. the bar, with no soundproofing at all. a little attention to cleaning would go a long way. a complimentary upgrade or at least some effort woudl've made a difference, but alas, it was not meant to be.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. Enjoyed the delicious meals at the hotel's restaurant. the steaks were cooked perfectly and reasonably priced. The pool area was beautiful and inviting, perfect for a mid-afternoon dip. noise from the bar was a significant issue, especially during live music nights that went on until late. A lack of soundproofing made it hard to enjoy restful nights, especially on weekends. The location is very central, making it easy to access shops and dining nearby.
